Obesity is said to be the gift of inactivity, comfort, sedentary life style and of course - wrong eating habits. Heredity, hormonal disturbances including slackened thyroid activity may be some other causes. According to Ayurved however, indigestion or faulty assimilation is also one of the important reason. An obese person may apparently look well nourished, but generally it is not true. Due to impaired digestion, there is only partial absorption of nutrients. To overcome this nutritional need, the body constantly demands more food, which in turn leads to more weight. Due to partial absorption the body becomes weak, sometimes resulting in anemia and breathlessness on least exertion.

Dieting and Yo-Yo Syndrome :

In view of the growing magnitude of obesity, a number of weight loss programs and clinics have cropped up in almost all cities with claims of substantial weight and inch loss within a short period. They naturally resort to appetite suppressant drugs, drastic dieting and vigorous exercise. Studies conform that at the end of six to eight months of such programs 90 to 95% people regain most of there lost weight and in some cases even more. Such repeated weight loss and gain, termed as Yo-Yo syndrome is a serious health hazard. Most people lose lean mass (primary muscle and water) as well as fat when they lose weight. When the weight comes back most of it is fat. This decreases BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) or the rate at which body burns calorie, this increases more weight. In addition to existing problems, yo-yo syndrome can cause estrogen levels to fluctuate in women which may halt or delay menstruation. In males it can result in loss of libido or erectile dysfunction.

To overcome all the complexities of this growing problem Hassnar research group formulated Slimming Capsule "SLIMSURE" which, rationally and scientifically takes care of obesity and alleviates obesity related problems because:

  • SLIMSURE gradually and steadily reduces weight.
  • SLIMSURE alleviates obesity related problems like raised cholesterol, blood pressure, flatulence, constipation etc.
  • SLIMSURE improve assimilation and absorption so that nutrients are utilised by the body.
  • SLIMSURE improves liver function and cleans the system by removing toxins.
  • SLIMSURE provides natural nourishment to improve overall physical fitness.
  • SLIMSURE offers complete freedom from side effects.

SLIMSURE thus becomes a matchless anti-obesity formulation.

 Allium sativum (Garlic) extract:

Indian journal of experimental biology 1995 Oct;33(10):749-51.

Effects of S-allyl cysteine sulfoxide isolated from Allium sativum Linn and gugulipid on some enzymes and fecal excretions of bile acids and sterols in cholesterol fed rats.

Sheela CG1, Augusti KT.

Abstract

S-allyl cysteine sulfoxide, isolated from garlic, A. sativum, is more or less as active as gugulipid in controlling hypercholestermia, obesity and derangement of enzyme activities in cholesterol diet fed rats. The beneficial effects of the drugs are partly due to their inhibitory effects on transaminases, alkaline phosphatase, lipogenic enzymes and HMG CoA reductase and partly due to their stimulatory effects on plasma lecithin-cholesterol acyl transferase lipolytic enzymes and fecal excretion of sterols and bile acids.
